Who We AreDr. Teresa Cook practiced in Northern British Columbia where similar problems with pet overpopulation and social barriers exist to acquiring veterinary care in many communities. Dr. Cook worked with the BCSPCA on many occasions often on occasions where she assisted in seizing dogs and cats from deplorable living conditions. Several experiences as a locum veterinarian, including volunteering and fundraising to spay and neuter cats and dogs in Jamaica, helped guide her decision to open a spay and neuter service in Saskatoon, SK, where she observed a need for improved accessibility to veterinary preventative health care. |
