Spays and Neuters
The optimum time for spaying and neutering your cat or dog is determined based on age, breed and physical condition. The general Guidelines are as follows:
Large Breed Dogs: 9 -12 months of age
Small Breed Dogs: 6 to 9 months of age
Cats: 6 - to 9 months of age

Vaccinations:
Kittens/Puppies
- Puppies and kittens need to receive their first core vaccine between six and eight weeks of age. They need to receive a series of 3 vaccines on the core every 4 weeks for boosters to fully protect them from the core diseases. The rabies vaccine would be administered along with the 3rd core booster shot.
Animals over six months of age or adults that have not been vaccinated
- If the puppy is more than six months old and has not been vaccinated, two vaccinations three to four weeks apart is recommended. The rabies shot is given on the 2nd vaccination visit.

Dental Services
It is important for your pet to have dental care. Poor dental care can affect more than just your pet’s mouth. Harmful bacteria developed though the mouth can travel through your pet’s bloodstream causing dangerous health problems such as heart, kidney and liver damage. Yearly Dental check-ups are recommended to keep your pet healthy and happy.
Frontier Spay and Neuter Veterinary Services offer Full Dentals. Services and pricing will include:
- Dental Examination
- Dental Prophylaxis – Scaling and Polishing
- Minor tooth Extractions (Additional cost for any Major Extractions)
